What is ONO?
ONO is a personal AI desktop: an open-source exploration of a more personal, continuous way to use your computer. It brings browser sessions, agent conversations, documents and local files onto a shared surface, organised into workspaces and worktabs around a project, an interest or your day. The idea is to make working side by side with agents feel natural, with the people, tools and context you need close at hand.

How is ONO being built?
We’re building ONO on open-source foundations: Electron for the desktop experience and Pi for the agent layer. Electron lets us bring web technologies, browser windows and local file access together in a desktop app. Pi provides the toolkit behind our experimental agent runtime, connecting AI models with conversations and tools. These foundations let us focus on the experience: workspaces and worktabs where you and your agents can work side by side.
